This Project is still in the initial phases of construction, and includes some uncommon ground work challenges.

Some of the more common ground works and civil engineering processes were known form the outset of this project and includes piled foundations, reduced level excavations and drainage.

An additional element of these works included for Highways Improvements to the A138 Parkway, Chelmsford, Essex and Goldlay Avenue. These operations have been carried out under what is known as a S278 Agreement with Kingsview Construction acting as the principal contractors' appointed agent for these works.

Kingsview Construction undertake these operations frequently for our clients. We maintain directly employed New Roads and Streetworks qualified operatives and supervisors who can arrange for these works to be completed to the satisfaction of the local authority, highways department.

Our in-house Health and Safety Manager also oversees the development of traffic management plans and operates a computer aided design facility to enable us to undertake the preparatory work necessary prior to the commencement of Street works.
