Case Studies
Kingsview undertook the role of principal contractor for one of Gleeson Building’s flagship projects in West London. The project involved extensive excavation and levelling of the site to make construction of access roads and parking areas possible.
Kingsview were appointed sub-contractor for this project following an extensive interview and pre-qualification process. In a competitive bidding phase, Kingsview were identified as being best able to manage the complexity and logistical challenges to ensure the protection of residents and visitors.
Following subsidence to the existing service road of approximately 800 metres around the perimeter of the school, a new service road was commissioned. The project was subject to a strict deadline as the work needed to be completed before the start of the new school term.
A complex project which Kingsview Construction were uniquely able to manage, including such challenges as confined space entry, soil reinforcement and the dreaded Japanese knotweed.
This Project is still in the initial phases of construction, and includes some uncommon problems in so far as general ground works is concerned.
